About This Project
Idea
The concept of the calendar directly belongs to the employees of Naftogaz. The company ran a competition, and the idea of 12 OIL INVENTIONS UKRAINE GAVE TO THE WORLD got the majority of votes. Its gist is to tell about the inventions of Ukrainians that had an effect on the history of the oil and gas industry.Our country is currently at the stage of global reform, energy independence being one of the key priorities of development. Naftogaz – a leader of this movement – managed to turn from a debtor having no say in the world markets to a full-fledged player and profitable organization within a short time and most importantly, introduced transparent energy carrier pricing at last.
Realization
Our team were excited by the concept offered and started implementing the idea despite the limited time (three weeks). We tried to create a calendar visually different from all the preceding ones by rejecting the classical photographs of pipelines, valves etc. and making a clear and light design with a large number of illustrations, using the encyclopedic style of information presentation. Many unique facts that make you proud of your ancestors when you learn them and that still inspire to succeed are represented on its pages.Client
